General Certificate of Secondary Education. GCSE examinations are taken by students at the end of compulsory school education (year 11)
KS3 children are expected to reach level 5 or 6. Though there are no longer national tests in KS3, how well children do in this key stage is very important.
Key Stage 2 is the legal term for the four years of schooling in maintained schools in England and Wales normally known as Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.
There are four main subjects tested in 11 Plus exams: verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, maths, and English.
