Is it 1 to 1 or Group Tuition?
We do not provide 1 to 1 tuition as our goal is to provide low-cost, high-quality tuition. The only way this is feasible is through group tuition. Many argue that group tuition can be far better because of the competition and group discussion which can be very beneficial
in terms of understanding, competency
and resilience.
What makes you different?
Superb Tuition is about more than being a business. Our goal is to empower the next generation of leaders, writers, scientists, doctors, lawyers, teachers and so on. This is why we offer you so much more than online-tuition. We provide excellent resources like exam papers, explainer videos, worksheets, revision notes and more.
When do classes take place?
Classes take place primarily during the weekends from the hours of 09:00-16:15.
However, we encourage you to make an enquiry if you are interested in the weekdays too, we are frequently opening new classes, so may be able to offer a suitable seat shortly.
Is it as effective as offline tuition?
There is no reason why an online-tuition class that is engaging, interactive and extremely informative cannot deliver a high-quality tuition experience. So long as students are all studying one thing, as opposed to all doing different things and subjects, the tutor would be able to deliver a fantastic tuition experience simply by sharing their screen and communicating with students.
Is it safe and secure?
All of our classrooms are locked with a passcode, and there is a waiting room enabled, so only the host can allow people joining. Zoom is encrypted and is used all over the world. We have had no issues thus far. Parents can therefore rest assured that if an issue ever arises, Superb Tuition will not hesitate to take the necessary actions.
Must I commit to longer than a month?
No. Although we ask you to pay monthly. As it stands, there is no commitment, and you can leave anytime you wish.
How do lessons take place?
Lessons take place over Zoom. Once a free trial has been registered and confirmed,
parents are provided with the corresponding Zoom details for the class. All that is
needed is a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone and a student can join the class.
Is the first lesson 100% free?
Yes. Depending on the package you are interested in, you will receive a free trial. If
you are interested in trialling for Maths, English and Science, we will give you 3 free
hours of tuition to see if you like us with absolutely no commitment to continue.
How much does it cost?
We charge £7 per hour. Therefore, if you were to select one subject it would cost £7 a week, if you select two subjects it would be £14 a week and if you select three it would be £21. We take payments monthly, however, you can leave anytime. The first lesson will always be 100% free so you can decide if we are for you.
